7/10/2005 - 29er Worlds Final Series
After barely making Gold fleet we had nowhere to go but up!
We did lots of sailing in nothing under about 12 knots. A great breeze for a finals series! Unfortunately the breeze wasnt quite our specialty and we had difficulty with our upwind speed especially off the starting line. We posted a few okay results but found ourselves in the back of the fleet for the majority of the series. We had a run-in with some Brits who weren't clear of the finish line on the last day and were unable to sail the next two races due to a collision.
We finished 25th/78 and we had an awesome time blasting around San Francisco Bay! More importantly we now have race course experience for the 470 Worlds!
